World Affairs Discussions (WAD) are usually held the fourth week of each month except July, August and December.  These events provide a forum for members and guests to hear an overview of a timely topic of interest and then participate in moderated table discussions of the pros and cons and/or possible solutions of issues that are identified in the presentation.  A meal function is included and social networking time is included in the schedule.  Through CIR’s Student Outreach Support program, interested students and teachers are invited to attend World Affairs Discussion luncheons for free.
