14 Days/13 Nights in Top Hotels
Begins February 1 in Guatemala City
This will be a fascinating trip with an emphasis on archeology as well as local crafts and culture. You will see most of the greatest Mayan sites in Guatemala and also spend a few days in Honduras and Belize. You will have an opportunity to visit many local villages. Guatemala has by far the highest percentage of Indian population in all of Latin America and many crafts and local customs are still practiced.
This is also a luxury trip – you have your own private vehicle and guide and the hotels at each stop are the very best available. We are providing the websites for each hotel so that you can get an idea of what they are like. Hotels are all 5-star, aside from two 4-star hotels, which are still the best available in their locations.
The price per person based on double occupancy is $2095. This includes a $250 tax deductible contribution to CIR. This price is based on a minimum of 8 people traveling. The price may vary by around $100 up or down depending on the number of people that sign up. The price includes all breakfasts. Price does NOT include international airfare. Single supplement is $700.
You fly to Guatemala City to start and fly home from Belize at the end of the trip. At present airfare is around $500. Guatemala is fairly close, less than a 3-hour flight from Dallas or Houston.
