Azerbaijan Consul General Breakfast Meeting

Members and Friends of CIR and the City Different Petroleum Club (CDPC) are invited to attend a breakfast meeting to hear the Consul General Elin Suleymanov of Azerbaijan.

The Consul General will speak about oil and gas opportunities in Azerbaijan and his country’s critical place in meeting the energy needs of Western Europe and the United States.

We suggest that you arrive at 9:00 a.m. to purchase food and beverages à la carte from Café Paris before the Consul General begins speaking around 9:30 a.m.

There will be no admission charge.  Café Paris will add a 20 percent gratuity to individual checks.

Mr. Elin Suleymanov is the Republic of Azerbaijan’s first Consul General to Los Angeles, California and the Western United States with personal rank of Envoy Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.  He also worked in the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Washington, DC.  Before joining diplomatic service, Consul General Suleymanov worked with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Azerbaijan and with the Open Media Research Institute in Prague, Czech Republic.  A graduate of the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts, Consul General Suleymanov also holds graduate degrees from Moscow State University, Russia and from the University of Toledo, Ohio.  Consul General Suleymanov speaks Azerbaijani, English, Russian and Czech.
