The Student Newsroom

We are thrilled to announce that there will be a fully equipped Student Newsroom available to all students during Journalism under Fire. There, students will have the opportunity to:

  • Participate in small group workshops with conference speakers, international and local journalists
  • Interview speakers, international journalists, and local journalists
  • Use computer editing stations to prepare audio or video interviews for dissemination.
  • Network with other students

Students will have a special Press Badge and have full behind-the-scenes access to the conference. A generated list of #hashtags will allow student journalists to contribute to a body of reporting on social media.
