This event is a must for anyone who has travelled or lived in Turkey or anyone who is interested in international education. The luncheon is at Santa Fe Prep on Sunday, November 7, from 12:30-3:30. Admission is $10.00 which includes authentic Turkish cuisine.  Reservations are required as seating is limited.

.

The focus of this luncheon is on the five Santa Fe teachers who, with the generosity of the Turkish Cultural Foundation and administered by the World Affairs Councils of America, have recently returned from a two week study tour of Turkey. We will hear about their impressions, a sampling of their tour, and what they think this type of activity does for international education. We are most interested in what is happening in their classrooms after experiencing this wonderful cultural study.  The teachers are: Maria Barcelona-Monte Del Sol, Keenan Girdner-Capshaw Middle School, Jody Lefevers-Santa Fe Prep, Nancy Lee Marquis-Monte Del Sol, Scott Hauenstein-the Masters Progran at SFCC.
