Join CIR on Friday, June 7th for our next Regional Briefing Luncheon, where we’ll explore the many shifting winds of global trade. What is the future of the Canada-US trade relationship? Between the US and Mexico? How will Brexit affect European trade relationships? What is really happening between China and the US in terms of trade? And how do all of these shifting trade winds affect New Mexico?

WHO: We’ll hear from an all-star three-person panel, featuring:

  • Douglas George, the Acting Consul General of Canada, based in Dallas, TX.
  • Patrick Schaefer, the Executive Director of the Hunt Institute for Global Competitiveness, at the University of Texas at El Paso.
  • Dr. Manuel Montoya, an Associate Professor of Global Structures and International Management at the University of New Mexico’s Anderson School of Management.
