Rob Reider, a former CIR board member, has written two social issue books of fiction “The Genius Club” and “American Scream” depicting what can be done by individuals and communities working together to bring America back to its former position of world greatness and humanity and world wide respect.
The Genius Club: a novel of life and survival in a declining America depicts how forlorn and isolated individuals can come together as a group (and it doesn’t take a genius) and work toward correcting some of the inhumane flaws that have developed in the fabric of a declining America—a country that they were once proud of and that provided freedom and opportunities for all.
American Scream: a novel of hope and possibilities depicts how a fictional community was able to reverse an oncoming tsunami of decay and devastation. It shows how to develop a better community where residents live and work together—filled with opportunities where the American Dream is not focused on the accumulation of monetary riches but the riches of finding one’s internal self in an atmosphere of equal support and encouragement.
