CIR’s International Lecture Series for Spring 2014 will focus on Women Political Leaders with three lectures on women who lead important countries in Latin America, Europe, and Asia.  Our speakers will address the factors which have led to Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner, Dilma Roussell, Michelle Bachelet, Angela Merkel, and Park Geun-hye to the Presidencies of their respective nations and some perspective on how their ascents represent specific national and broader global circumstances.  Plan now to join your CIR members in learning more about these models of global leadership.

Saturday, January 25, 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., Dr. David Foster from Arizona State University will speak about Latin American Women Presidents

Saturday, March 8, 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., Dr. Mary Hampton from Maxwell Airforce Base will speak about Angela Merkel

Saturday, April 5, 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., Dr. Seungsook Moon from Vassar College will speak about Women Leaders in Asia
